Our work encompasses national and foreign practices aiming at adding value to our customers’ strategic transactions in all industry segments through a technical and experienced approach.

Learn more about some of the activities that our work in Oil and Gas entails:

• Advice to national and international customers at different segments of the oil and gas industry: upstream, midstream, and downstream (exploration and production, refining and processing, as well as logistics, distribution, and commercialization)
• Legal advice in the purchase and sale of assets such as transportation gas pipelines, exploratory blocks and producing fields (farm-out and farm-in), Natural Gas Processing Units, gas hubs, refineries, and terminals
• Drafting, negotiation and implementation of joint ventures, joint operation agreements (JOA), and unitization agreements (UOAs)
• Drafting and negotiation of oil and/or natural gas purchase and sale agreements (COSAs and GSAs), gas balancing agreements, gas processing agreements, EPCs, among others
• Advice in administrative proceedings before the ANP and other government agencies, including matters regarding exploration and production contracts (assignment, attachment and extension of contracts, approval of financial collaterals and work programs, etc.)
• Regulatory support in obtaining authorization to carry out regulated activities (refiner, processor, carrier, marketer, trader, etc.)
• Drafting of expert opinions and representation of clients in court and arbitration proceedings
