The event brought together authorities, experts and professionals from both countries to discuss legal and regulatory challenges in the maritime, port and customs sectors.<\/p>\n<p>Among the topics discussed were port governance and operations, with reflections on management models and key aspects of operational efficiency and competitiveness.<\/p>\n<p>During the congress, it was announced that Brazil would provide technical support to Angola to address 15 non-conformities identified by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in the implementation of international standards. The initiative aims to strengthen regulatory compliance and improve oversight mechanisms for maritime and port activities.<\/p>\n<p>The program also highlighted prospects for strengthening trade relations between Brazil and Angola, whose bilateral trade amounts to approximately US$ 1.5 billion annually, demonstrating the potential for expanding business and investment between the two countries.<\/p>\n<p>We thank the congress organizers for the opportunity to participate in discussions relevant to the development of Maritime, Port and Customs Law, as well as to the exchange of
