The Federal Tax Authority launches a new transaction program for administrative debts of small and medium-sized companies<\/p>\n

The Federal Tax Authority has launched a new Transaction Agreement for Small Value Tax Proceedings, by means of the Notice of Transaction by Adhesion No. 1, of June 24, 2021.<\/p>\n
Individuals, very small businesses (ME) and the small businesses (EPP) may adhere to the agreement, with debts from the \u201cSimples Nacional\u201d tax regime and those that have been arranged into an installment plan excluded from this.<\/p>\n
It is possible to include in the agreement the debts whose values, plus interest and fine, per entry or per administrative proceedings, do not exceed sixty (60) minimum wages, which currently amounts to R$66,000.00. Debts already incurred may be included, whose fines are already outstanding before the Notice was published.<\/p>\n
Payment terms vary according to the installment plan chosen, however, they always have at least two installments, one initial 6% of the net amount and the other of the remainder of the debt. The longer the installment plan, the lower the discount and vice versa. The largest possible discount to be obtained is 50% of the total amount of the debts, for payment in 7 installments. It is important to note that the choice of installment plans depends on a minimum amount stipulated (R$100.00 for individuals and R$500.00 for legal entities).<\/p>\n
Regarding the deadlines, adherence to the transaction may be formalized from July 1, 2021, until November 30, 2021.<\/p>\n
Adherence occurs in a simple and immediate manner, in addition to being free of charge, all one has to do is access the system (e-CAC Portal), select the type of debt (social security and\/or other), choose the modality “Settle Small Amount Litigation”, available in the menu “Payments and Installments”.<\/p>\n
