On the 21st, Fabio Perrelli Peçanha, Caio Tojar and Guilherme Henrique Noçais led an in-person meeting at Beneficência Portuguesa on the impacts of the Tax Reform, bringing together professionals from different areas for an essentially practical discussion on the topic.

More than a change restricted to the Tax and Fiscal areas, the Reform requires an integrated view of the business. Procurement, Human Resources, Legal, Finance and other areas will be directly impacted by the new rules and will play an important role in preparing companies for the new scenario.

Throughout the meeting, the main effects of the Reform on business dynamics were discussed, as well as opportunities, points of attention and actions that need to start being structured now. Integration among these different areas is essential to anticipate impacts and manage the transition in a coordinated manner, considering both the operational and economic aspects of the changes.

Preparing for the Tax Reform is, therefore, an exercise that goes beyond the analysis of taxes: it involves processes, contracts, suppliers, people and business decisions.
